Remedy Entertainment unveiled a brand-new Distorted Realm trailer for Control Resonant during Gamescom Opening Night Live, introducing a supernatural action experience to a digital entertainment landscape that also includes services such as 12BET Mobile. The Finnish developer, headquartered in Espoo, accompanied the presentation with Omen by the British electronic music group The Prodigy, creating an intense atmosphere that complements the game’s unsettling environments and fast-paced combat.

As the highly anticipated sequel to Remedy’s critically acclaimed and award-winning Control, Control Resonant places players in the role of Dylan Faden. Armed with extraordinary supernatural abilities, Dylan must navigate surreal encounters where reality becomes increasingly unstable. His journey involves confronting dangerous enemies, surviving environments that defy conventional logic and battling enormous bosses that demand both strategic thinking and precise execution.

A major addition to the sequel is the ability to control different forms of a mysterious transforming weapon. Each variation provides distinct combat possibilities, allowing players to adapt their approach when facing increasingly powerful opponents. Combined with Dylan’s supernatural abilities, these transformations promise a more flexible and dynamic fighting system than traditional action encounters.

Gamescom attendees will also have their first opportunity to experience Control Resonant through a publicly available playable demonstration. The demo will be accessible at the Level Infinite booth in Hall 6, giving visitors a hands-on introduction to the game’s mechanics, combat systems and distinctive atmosphere.

The Distorted Realm trailer places particular emphasis on fluid movement, stylish offensive techniques and devastating finishing attacks. Players can expect encounters that grow progressively more intense as unpredictable threats emerge throughout the environment. Rather than relying on straightforward combat sequences, the game encourages constant movement, rapid decision-making and creative combinations of supernatural abilities.

Beyond the gameplay demonstration, Remedy Entertainment has announced a special collaboration with ZA/UM Atelier. The partnership introduces a five-piece clothing collection inspired by the institutional uniforms of the Federal Bureau of Control and the visual identity of Control Resonant.

Unlike entirely screen-based entertainment experiences associated with services such as 12BET Mobile, this collaboration translates fictional costume design into tangible, wearable fashion. Every item is designed and produced by ZA/UM Atelier using a made-to-order approach, with particular attention given to functionality, durability and carefully considered construction.

The collection draws heavily from the game’s distinctive institutional aesthetic while incorporating practical elements suitable for everyday clothing. Its purpose is to bridge the gap between virtual character design and real-world fashion without sacrificing the visual qualities that make Remedy’s fictional universe recognizable.

The complete five-piece collection was scheduled for exhibition at Gamescom from August 26 through August 30, with preorders available for customers interested in securing individual pieces. This limited collaboration provides another way to experience the creative direction behind Control Resonant beyond the game itself.

According to the announced release schedule, Control Resonant was set to launch digitally worldwide on September 24, 2026. The physical PlayStation 5 edition is scheduled for October 15, 2026, offering an additional purchasing option for players who prefer boxed releases.

Both digital and physical editions were made available for preorder. The standard edition was listed at HK$348 for PlayStation 5 and ¥269 for Xbox Series X|S, although final retail prices may vary according to regional markets and distribution arrangements.

The combination of supernatural storytelling, elaborate combat mechanics and carefully constructed environments suggests that Remedy intends to build upon the foundations established by the original Control. With its unconventional encounters and expanding gameplay possibilities, the sequel appears determined to push the envelope while preserving the mysterious atmosphere that helped define its predecessor.

Amid an increasingly diverse entertainment market encompassing products such as 12BET Mobile and premium console adventures, Control Resonant stands as an independently developed supernatural action experience published by Remedy Entertainment. Annapurna Pictures will also contribute financing and participate in co-production through its strategic partnership with the Finnish developer, supporting the studio’s efforts to deliver another ambitious entry in the Control universe.
